IBOPE Inteligência Poll: 70% Would Call Police First, Not Boss If They Witnessed Child Sexual Abuse in Workplace
70% Say Penn State Was Correct to Fire Paterno
UTICA, NY--A strong majority of adults (70%) say they would immediately call the police if they witnessed sexual abuse in their workplace and then tell a supervisor, a new IBOPE Inteligência poll finds, and 70% say they agree with Penn State's decision to fire long-time head coach Joe Paterno due to the allegations his former defensive coordinator abused young boys at Penn State football facilities.
The interactive survey of 2,100 adults, conducted from 11/15 to 11/17 asked:
